Who are we?

Australian Forest Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of ecotech group, has been accredited as a carbon abatement certificate provider under the carbon sequestration rule (NSW greenhouse abatement scheme).

Australian Forest Corporation has developed unique templated accreditation models that facilitate accreditation for any land owner and for any management regime or tree species. AFC’s business model will enable large scale generators of carbon credits to increase yields while lowering risks. It also provides large scale purchases, assurance and integrity for long term contracts.

Many ecotechnological solutions generate Kyoto compliant biomasses. Using AFC’s methodology Carbon Credit revenues may be earned by ecotech group clients. In addition to providing enhanced environmental solutions for degraded ecosystems and waterways AFC’s model addresses major rural environmental issues such as reafforestation, acid sulphate soil, salinity and nutrient overload.

Generator Pool Management.
Australian Forest Corporation establishes land banks for forest stands that may be directly owned or managed by AFC or under a partnership agreement with plantation owners or under AFC management. Land banks are established for the purpose of maximising carbon sequestration credits using AFC accreditation under the NSW greenhouse abatement scheme, carbon sequestration rule.

AFC Land and Carbon Banks form part of AFC`s Generator Carbon Management Pool. Generator Pool Management provides a risk buffer for all participants in the carbon pool by creating a bank of registered but unsold carbon credits that generators can call on should unforeseen events result in a failure to fulfil the generators obligation under the 100 year rule.

Carbon Warehouse Trading Company
Carbon Warehouse Trading Company buys and sells carbon credits generated by AFC. Additionally CWTC aggregates carbon credits from various generators or generator pools to maximise return for beneficial owners of those carbon credits.
